This website provides information about Therapy on Tour and my psychotherapy services for the touring music industry. It is for general information only and does not provide personal mental health, medical or legal advice.
Viewing this website or contacting me through it does not create a therapeutic relationship. A professional relationship begins only when we both agree to work together and confirm this in writing.
Online sessions
For online sessions, you are responsible for joining from a private, quiet environment where you can be fully present.
Payment and cancellations
Payment is required at least 24 hours before each session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are charged in full. Repeated missed sessions or late payment may result in your regular appointment slot being released.
Session timing
Sessions last 50 minutes and your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Late arrival does not extend the session.
Attendance
You agree not to attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed substances. If this occurs, the session may be ended early and the full fee will still apply.
Medical responsibility
Therapy does not replace medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. You remain responsible for seeking appropriate medical support when needed.
Emergencies
This service is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or feel unable to stay safe, please contact emergency services, your GP, NHS 111, or your local crisis service.
Expectations of therapy
Therapy can be highly beneficial, but no specific outcomes can be guaranteed. You remain responsible for your decisions and actions outside sessions.

If you have any concerns about our work together, I encourage you to raise them in session so we can explore and address them. If this does not feel possible, you are also entitled to contact my professional body, the BACP, and use their complaints process.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted will be taken as acceptance of the updated terms.

Your privacy is treated with the highest level of care and discretion. This Privacy Policy explains how Therapy on Tour collects, uses and protects your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Only the information needed to provide safe and effective services is collected. This may include your contact details, information shared when making an enquiry or booking, information discussed during assessment and therapy, and limited technical data about how the website is used. This website data may include pages viewed, time spent on the site, and basic device or browser information.
Your information is used only to respond to enquiries, arrange appointments and payments, provide therapy, maintain clinical records, meet professional and legal responsibilities, protect the security of the website, and understand how the site is used. Where advertising is used, it is measured in a privacy-respecting way and never includes therapy content.
Your personal data is never sold, rented, or added to third-party marketing lists.
Your information is handled only where it is necessary to provide therapy, meet professional and legal responsibilities, and safely manage the practice. Sensitive health information is processed with your explicit consent.
Confidential therapy notes are stored using secure professional systems designed for clinical practice and encrypted storage. Access is password protected and limited to the therapist.
As part of ethical professional practice, clinical work may be discussed in supervision to support safe and effective care. Identifying details are removed wherever possible.
Your information is treated as confidential and is only shared in limited circumstances: where there is a serious risk of harm, where disclosure is required by law, where it is necessary to safely deliver services, or where you have given explicit consent.
To support the running of the practice, I use secure professional systems such as clinical note software, website and email hosting, video platforms, payment providers, and privacy-respecting analytics and advertising tools. These services exist solely to support your care. They are required to keep your information secure, confidential, and to use it only under my instruction.
This website may use cookies and similar technologies to ensure the site functions correctly, to understand how visitors use it, and to measure advertising performance. Where required, you will be asked for consent before non-essential cookies or tracking tools are used. You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings or the cookie banner.
Advertising measurement tools may collect limited technical information about your visit, such as pages viewed and general device details, in order to show relevant advertising and understand its effectiveness. This information never includes therapy content or clinical records and is also subject to the privacy policies of the advertising providers.
Sessions may take place via secure video platforms. While professional safeguards are used, all online communication carries some inherent privacy and security risks. You are responsible for using a private device and network where possible, and for joining from a space where your privacy can be maintained.
Therapy records are typically kept for 7 years after the end of therapy, or longer where required by law or professional guidance, and are then securely deleted or destroyed.
You have the right to request access to your personal data, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, request restriction or deletion of your data within legal and professional limits, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. If you have concerns about how your information is handled, you may raise them with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Appropriate technical and organisational safeguards are in place to protect your information. While every reasonable effort is made to maintain security, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
